Showroom

PrivacyYour files never leave your computer.

Updated 26 October 2026

The short version

Showroom opens your PSDs and images in your browser and keeps them on your computer. They’re never uploaded, and we can’t see them.

We count visits without cookies. If you accept analytics, we also see which features get used and where people get stuck, with a replay of the screens. Never your files, their names or what’s in them.

No accounts, no ads, nothing sold.

Who we are

Showroom is made by Oluwadare Seyi, an individual in the United Kingdom. If you have a question about your data, write to hello@showroom.design and I’ll answer.

Your files

Everything you open in Showroom (mockups, designs, backgrounds, exports) is read and drawn by your browser, on your computer. Projects are saved in your browser’s own storage so they open instantly next time.

They stay there until you delete the project or clear this site’s data. We never receive them, so we can’t see, keep or share them.

What we count

For every visit, without cookies

The page, the site that sent you, your browser and device type, and your rough location (country). Your IP address is used for a moment to tell visits apart within a day, then thrown away.

Only if you accept analytics

What you do in the app, like adding a PSD, adding a design or finishing an export, with details such as the format, size and how many. A random ID in your browser links your visits, so we can see if people come back.

A replay of your visit: the screens, clicks and scrolling, so we can see where Showroom gets in the way. Your images, video and mockups show as blank boxes, and names you gave things (projects, files, layers, scenes) and anything you type are blanked out. We also get errors the app runs into, with their type and where in the code, not their message.

Never

Your files, images or video. File, layer or project names. Anything you type. Before you accept, or if you reject, nothing is replayed.

Cookies and storage

Showroom sets no cookies. It keeps a few things in your browser’s storage, and you can change your choice any time from Cookie settings.

Necessary
Your projects and files, your settings, which tab has a project open, and your analytics choice. Always on, never sent anywhere.
Analytics
PostHog’s random ID (ph_…). Only after you accept, and removed if you reject later.

Who helps us

PostHog counts visits and, with your consent, app usage, replays and errors. Its data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt).

Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host, it sees your IP address to send you the page, and keeps short logs for security.

Neither gets your files. We don’t sell data or use it for ads.

Feedback you send

If you send feedback from the app, it comes to us by email: what you wrote, any screenshots you attached, your email if you gave it, and which screen, browser and window size it came from, so we can see a problem the way you did.

Nothing else from your project goes with it. We keep it as long as we need to answer and fix things, then delete it.

Your choices and rights

Analytics is up to you: accept or reject in the banner, and change your mind in Cookie settings. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we treat it as a no.

We count visits because it helps us keep Showroom working well (legitimate interest). We use analytics only with your consent. Usage data is kept for up to a year, and replays for 30 days, then deleted.

You can ask what we hold, ask us to delete it, or complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). Write to hello@showroom.design.

Changes

If this changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If we ever want to collect something new, we’ll ask first.
